Summer Learning Programs

The Summer Learning Program begins on Tuesday, June 20th and concludes on Friday, August 4th. Turning Point CDC will host six one-week camps for students in Kindergarten-8th grades. Each weekly camp will have a different theme including: Good Vibes Only - Sports Camp; Rice Performing Arts Camp; Kitchen Science STEAM Camp; All Roads Lead to Washington, DC Camp; A Whole New World: Animal Life Camp; and the Bubble Festival Camp. The camps will be educational, innovative, and fun, integrating reading, science, technology, art, and math in an interdisciplinary approach to combat summer learning loss and increase grade-level proficiency in ready and math.
